The Boulevard Oaks section of the South Main corridor was formed
by a group of small neighborhoods: Southampton, Vassar Place, and
North and South Blvd. The area is known for its abundant oak trees
that, on many streets, form attractive, geometric patterns. The New
York Times once called one street in Boulevard Oaks one of the most
magnificent residential streets in America.
